Summary:

We are a client in the process of building a new facility in Rincon, GA, located just 30 minutes northwest of Savannah, the largest metro nearby. Our company is dedicated to fostering growth and innovation in a collaborative environment. As we embark on this exciting journey, we are seeking an experienced IT Generalist (Level 3) to join our team and lead the setup and management of our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of IT operations at our new facility, overseeing networking, infrastructure, user support, and facility-related IT tasks.
• Design and implement IT systems and infrastructure to support business operations effectively, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Provide technical expertise and leadership to junior IT staff, guiding them in troubleshooting complex issues and implementing solutions.
• Lead the build-out phase of the facility, coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of IT-related projects.
• Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks, to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT systems, processes, and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• 8 years of experience in IT roles, with a proven track record of managing IT operations in small to mid-sized companies.
• Strong technical skills in networking, infrastructure, and end-user support, with proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Advanced knowledge of network administration, including configuration of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless networks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to mentor and coach junior IT staff.
